The CAA understands that there are a number of pilots who transferred their licences to an EASA Member State before 31 December 2020, who are still waiting the issue of their EASA Flight Crew Licence. After December 31, 2020, holders of Part FCL licence previously issued by the UK CAA cannot be longer considered holders of a Part-FCL licence issued in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 1178/2011 subject to mutual recognition within the EASA Member States. Such licenses became considered as third country licences in the EU after that date. For application fees please refer to the UK CAA Scheme of Charges. A certified current copy of your Part-FCL/UK licence if you hold one. Part-FCL privileges can be exercised by licence or certificate holders for up to 6 months from the date of successful completion of examination (s), while they are awaiting post-test endorsement of the licence or certificate.

This means a UK CAA issued Part-FCL LAPL: EU to UK Flight crew licence process and update to microsite From 1 April 2021, a new application process will be available to pilots, instructors and examiners who wish to obtain a UK Part-FCL licence based on a European Part-FCL licence.
